Electrolube SMA – Surface Mount Adhesive (Red Glue)

Electrolube Surface Mount Adhesive is a heat curable, one-part thixotropic adhesive. It has high uncured green strength and a fast cure cycle with medium bond strength. It is ideal for holding components in place during soldering operations in surface mount assemblies.

• Single part system
• High 'green strength' - i.e. excellent 'stickiness' ensures components do not move during handling before curing has taken place
• Thixotropic properties give high dot profile
• Excellent mechanical strength
• Not affected by UV light so that assembly operations can be carried out in normal conditions of light
• High dielectric strength
• Fast cure at 120C or longer cure at 90C for component safety
• Flexible in cured state to ensure components are not stressed
• Long term stability after cure cycle
• Resistant to PCB cleaning solvents
• Medium strength cured bond allows component removal for rework
• 9-12 months shelf life
• Available as 310ml cartridge/tube (SMA310ML) and 10ml syringe (SMA10SL)
